Visiting a model home from Hampstead

Before you commit to a new semi-detached home near Hampstead, you'll want to see it with your own eyes: the ceiling height, the light coming through the windows, the real size of a bedroom. Floor plans help you choose, but a visit is what settles it.

This guide covers visiting a model home from Hampstead: when to come, which way to drive, how to manage without a car, and what to look at once you're there. Driving distances and times come from the OSRM route planner and assume no traffic. Metro and bus times are taken from the schedule files published by the STM and exo for a typical day, Monday, November 2, 2026.

When to plan on visiting a model home from Hampstead

BÉAcité's sales office is at 435 Geoffrion Street in Sainte-Julie. It's open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; evening and weekend visits are by appointment. The four turnkey homes on the street can all be toured: book the ones you want to see with Eddy Guessous, sales director, at 514-812-9633 (call or text) or ventes@beacite.com.

A weekday visit takes a little planning, but it's often within reach: in May 2021, at the height of the pandemic, 37.5% of Hampstead workers did their jobs from home, according to the Census. Remote work has eased since, but a flexible schedule lets you pick your moment.

By car: three routes, nearly tied

From Hampstead town hall, at 5569 Queen Mary Road, the Décarie Expressway is less than a kilometre away via Côte-Saint-Luc Road. From there, OSRM suggests three routes that, without traffic, come within a few minutes of each other:

  • via the Samuel De Champlain Bridge: Décarie southbound, the Nuns' Island bridge, Highway 10 to exit 11, Highway 30 East, then Highway 20 East; 43.8 km, about 41 minutes;
  • via the Jacques Cartier Bridge: exit 63-E, the Ville-Marie Expressway, Papineau Avenue, Boulevard Taschereau in Longueuil, then Highway 20 East; 39.7 km, about 42 minutes;
  • via the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine bridge-tunnel: Highway 40 East to exit 80-S, then Highway 20 East; about 44 minutes from the community centre on Lyncroft Road. The bridge-tunnel is under major repair until 2027, with closures that change from one phase of the work to the next.

All three meet on Highway 20, at exit 105. From there, follow the signs for the Vallée-du-Richelieu golf club, then the BÉAcité project signs. At rush hour, every one of these times gets longer: check road conditions before you leave.

Without a car, on a weekday

No bus runs directly from Hampstead to Sainte-Julie, and there's no metro station within Hampstead itself. The easiest starting point is the Queen-Mary / Stratford stop, a few dozen metres from town hall: the 51 bus stops there 151 times on a Monday and reaches Snowdon metro in 4 to 8 minutes. From Snowdon, the quickest chain runs through the REM:

  • the blue line to Édouard-Montpetit, in 4 or 5 minutes;
  • the REM to Brossard station, in 23 or 24 minutes by our calculation, based on the times posted for each station;
  • about 200 m away, exo bus 600, Monday to Friday only, to the Sainte-Julie terminus;
  • finally, the T34 taxibus, which must be booked, to the "des Pionniers / des Bâtisseurs" stop, about 90 m from Geoffrion Street.

An example from the schedules for Monday, November 2, 2026: metro at Snowdon at 10:40, exo 600 at 11:20, T34 at 11:55 and arrival at 12:06, or about 1 hour 25 minutes from Snowdon. Coming back, the 2:24 p.m. T34 reaches the terminus, where both the exo 350 to Longueuil and the exo 600 to Brossard leave at 2:40. During the sales office's opening hours, the taxibus only arrives at 12:06 and 1:27 p.m.: book it, and confirm how with exo. Walking times at transfers haven't been measured. For the whole trip, from zone A to zone C, you'll need an All modes ABC fare.

Saturday and Sunday: bring the car

On weekends, exo's schedules include neither the exo 600 nor the T34 taxibus. A few buses on routes 350 and 340 reach the Sainte-Julie terminus, but that still leaves 5.8 km to Geoffrion Street, with no connection. For a weekend visit, book an appointment and come by car.

What you'll see on Geoffrion Street

BÉAcité covers 50 lots on Geoffrion and Bissonnette streets, in the Vilamo neighbourhood, with two parks and a stormwater pond on the site plan. Four finished homes are waiting for you:

  • 405: three bedrooms, a mezzanine and a rooftop terrace;
  • 408: its photos show a staircase with black balusters, a closed office and a kitchen with a wooden island;
  • 423: a three-bedroom Duo home with a custom wine cellar, an open office and a finished basement;
  • 435: its photos reveal a residential elevator and rooms under a double-height ceiling.

You can also compare the three models: the semi-detached bungalow, all on one level, with 1,006 sq ft on the ground floor; the Duo cottage, with 2,018 sq ft of living space, or 2,356 sq ft with its optional mezzanine; and the Urbain model, with 1,622 sq ft. In each room, note what comes included: a quartz countertop, 9-foot ceilings on the ground floor, large windows, central air conditioning, central gas heating, and a garage with an outlet for charging an electric car.

Visiting a model home from Hampstead: what to ask

A visit goes better with a little preparation. Write down what you want to ask ahead of time:

  • the details of the all-inclusive maintenance program, which the sales director will give you;
  • the coverage under Quebec's mandatory guarantee plan for new residential buildings;
  • the lots with no rear neighbours, and whether a pool or spa can be added;
  • the customizable homes that can be ready in about four months.
